Huskerdoo: Bonnaroo? (White Stripes Return)
A Posts entry from Saturday, February 17, 2007
So the artists for this year’s Bonnaroo festival have been announced, and I’m pretty excited about the lineup. I’ve never been to a festival before, but I’m seriously considering this one since it’s got so many great performers and my semester will be over by then. Has anyone been before? What’s the atmosphere like? Which bands look best to you? The full band listing and my picks follow after the jump.
Bands I’m excited about:
- The White Stripes
- The Flaming Lips
- Regina Spektor
- The Black Keys
- David Cross

I’ve never heard of a lot of these people, but definitely The White Stripes, The Flaming Lips, David Cross, and to a degree, The Police. Kings of Leon are pretty good, too.
My only hope is that someone gets trapped in a well and Sting has to come to the rescue.

I’d see The Flaming Lips, Wilco, and the Decemberists, maybe a few others.
Alayna Frankenberry
The Decemberists,Regina Spektor, Kings of Leon, Girl Talk.
Seriously, my love for those bands is intense.
Who wants to buy my ticket?

hi. i’ve been to bonnaroo the past two years in a row.
a lot of people throw around the phrase, “best week of your life” real loose and carefree. sorry if i can’t think of a better phrase. regardless of the bands, the atmosphere, the whole experience.. waahh. it’s good.
i am in love with the flaming lips, who i have seen, and would like nothing better than to spend the rest of my life seeing every day. i also worship wilco, spoon, the white stripes, the police, regina spektor, the decemberists, mute math, and ben harper, in that order. kings of leon are always pretty dull live.
unfortunately this anual fest of delerious joy is not going to be enough to bring me back from eurpoe 2 weeks early. i am absolutely going to regret this decision and am checking the google leakage daily for signs of a decent lollapalooza.
